Looking forward to how easy/tough the rear is. Assuming your going with the factory kit that requires some cutting/welding in the back. I've been eyeing it for my 15.

Frosty, it's the kit from American Muscle and I don't think there's any cutting or welding needed, should find out tomorrow as the kit is supposed to be delivered

I'd strongly suggest canceling that order and getting the Dodge kit. It makes it a factory conversion with OE parts. More work and a little more $$$ but it will be worth it.

If not, might want to start looking at solutions for rubbing so you can solve them before final assembly. Example - Rubbing Issues

Best of luck!

Thanks for the info, the kit is unpainted so the plan was to mock it up first and make necessary adjustments, then paint...so I guess I'll see how it fits...the info is most definitely appreciated! I'll be sure and keep you posted and provide pics along the way

Agree. Several have posted on other forums that they encountered rubbing issues with widebody kits that don't require any cutting.

Yes, you will have issues if you ever hit some rough roads or a speed bump to fast.

I know I'm sounding like a broken record but I'd hate to see you get it all done just to have to redo it to make clearance. Theirs a reason dodge modified the fenders and quarter panels.

If you drive around in track suspension all the time you'd probably be OK but I'm not sure how fun that would be unless you live where the roads are super nice.

Bumper looks to fit good though for aftermarket.

Ok, Thx for the input...guess I'll drive it around a bit and see how it goes before I put the flares on...luve in northeast TN...Our roads are generally real nice, but we'll see

Given the degree of poke on those wheels and the known depth the suspension travels... I'd be real careful you don't fully bottom those fenders out on your tire and rip them off the car.

I hope you get what you are looking for.... I really lost my interest in doing the widebody thing when you could get a scat pack WB. Plus my Featherlite trailer is only 80" wide.
Good luck
