So I plugged my android phone in to my U connect. When I get text messages it pops up on the screen and it says play I press play and nothing happens. It has worked before what's going on can anyone give me any ideas? Thank you

Do you have Google Assistant disabled? I know AA uses that to do the hands free stuff while driving. My phone doesn't always work right away when playing text messages or other voice commands, there's a few second delay most times. You could try clearing the caches and restarting your phone too.

Last time I tried Android Auto in mine it wouldn't work at all. One day it worked, the next day nothing. Frustrating crap.

Thanks! I tried everything still not working. It says play out loud but it won't play the message

Also, do you have any battery saver things enabled? Could try if it works with your phone unlocked. I feel like the AA app has been buggy after recent updates. I have GPS issues now with maps after the updates. Constantly says "searching for GPS" and doesn't always follow along as I drive which was never an issue in the past.

Mine does not seem to even charge the phone when its on.

I have been using AA in my 2019 since new and It is the most buggy app I've ever used. It rarely works properly.
Very disappointing.
