I know there have been lots of post on here about shipping hellcats across the country and recommendation on shipping companies.

But my question is a little different. I obviously want a reputable company that will do a good job and take care of the car, but I am trying to find a company that will pick it up and deliver it fast.

Most of the ones I have looked into give you a 5-10 day pick up window and then another 5-10 day delivery window. I don't want to have to wait another 3 weeks after my hellcat finally gets to the dealer.

I am happy to pay a premium to have the car picked up in day or two and delivered in a couple of days.

Has anyone worked with a reputable company that will do expedited shipping, even for a price?

How far of a transport? Road trip? That was initially in my plan, as well as trailer it back after I was worried about break-in and milage.
1000 miles, Kansas City Missouri to Raleigh NC.

Fly in, drive it home, break in all done. Or fly there, rent a u-haul truck and trailer and haul it yourself. I've done both.

THanks RadCat, I have considering flying out and driving back, but had not thought of hauling it myself. I will check on the U-haul idea, thanks!

I buy and sell old muscle cars. I have been using this guy for 3 or 4 years. He is a broker, and can usually get cars picked up quickly. Some of the shippers aren't driving million dollar rigs, but I have never had a problem. The name is N-Motion. My contact is Ryan here is his cell, 281-725-4009. I usually text him. You can request open or enclosed. Good luck

That is a great price. How long did it take them to pick up the car once you were ready? How long to deliver?

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but how long ago did you do the U-Haul trailer thing? is there a particular size?

my dealership is in a fairly small town surrounded by at least 150 miles of pretty much nothing. I did that with my DD Nissan sentra spec-V 10 years ago and seem to remember having some problem in AZ when there was a short, sharp dip in the highway right where the entrance ramp started. it's amazing how really badly engineered some intersections can be once you get out and about in the boonies.

I'd rather not have to wait for a pickup and delivery either, but on the other hand, I'd definitely rather spend another week or so to avoid the risk of damage...especially if I'd be the one ending up paying for the damage.

sorry about the long-winded post here, but you would for sure recommend U-Haul trailer for this car? I've got right about 1000 miles to cover.

that's about 800 miles, no? I'm figuring I-5 south to hwy 58 east to I-15south to get to Vegas then hwy 95 south to I-8 west in Yuma and from there just west to PHX. or just I-5 south to I-8 near San Diego, although more miles that way.

that's one helluva rate if this is a dependable shipper. I may be interested as well.

you should ask them if they'll give you a discount for referrals. :)

I came across this. is this the contact # you have?

It's been about 10 years, but I was hunting for a 'Cuda, really wanted a '70 but couldn't find one. So I bought a '72 in NE Ohio. I flew up there and drove it home...well about 100 miles on the bias plys, then pulled into a Firestone for some radials, then drove it the rest of the way back to Oklahoma. It was dark after I got there to look at the car, it was a 318 car. After I got it home and got underneath it, it had a little more rust than I was comfortable with and wasn't really what I wanted. Then, as luck would have it, I found a '70 383 car in Carlsbad NM a week later. So I flew out there, took the wife and very young son with me. Didn't want to risk having problems on the road with an unknown car with them, so I rented a U-haul truck (big enough to pull a car hauler), and a car hauling trailer, loaded it up and drove it home. Had to get a hotel in Sherman, Tx because of tornadoes, but otherwise an uneventful trip that got me the '70 I wanted.

okay, right on. there was a time when U-Haul had some horribly maintained vehicles (even had a story on 60 Minutes about them) but hopefully they've improved.
