I've seen too much on the net lately about Trackhawks being stolen. Two in the Houston area recently with the most recent being ripped off from a hotel parking lot the same week I was in Houston.

Has anyone installed something like this? Seems like an easy fix although it's just an added level of help. Not recommending this product but just trying to see if anyone has already done this and what did they use.

That will stop the joy riders but not the pro's whom just load the vehicle on a flatbed and drive it to their nearest chop shop.

I used to do something like that in the past when I was in areas I felt weren't all that safe for my car. I would just pull the fuel pump fuse. In the car I used to do that on it was a couple of second process as the fuse was easy to access in the interior. Not sure about the trackhawks or hellcats but that would be my first option. If not easy to get to then something like that will help a little.

With the Dodge Chargers/Challengers getting the Uconnect security update (enter a pin and gas pedal does nothing, just idles) I sent an email to Stellantis inquiring if the Trackhawks were going to get this also. I received a call from Stellantis and he stated that the TH's are NOT scheduled for this update at this time, and he did not know what would happen in the furure.

Don't wait for any Stellantis\FCA crap it will never work, install kill switch or starter switch or fuel cut off switch, that's your real life saver.

When I try and look our cars up, I can only put 1996 or older in. Seems simple enough though.

I think it's a bit over complicated than it needs to be, lots of wire splicing.

I recently had the IGLA Pin Code security system installed in my Trackhawk. Need to enter a pin code using existing buttons on the steering wheel, even with a Key fob present. Prevents thieves from being able to use key fob amplifiers or key cloning via the OBDII. Works great! Unfortunately there are limited installers Nationwide so depending on where you are, you may have to drive a bit to get it done.

Went a different direction and picked up a Tazer with double bypass. I like the pin code concept and also needed it to tweak my speedo for non-standard wheel & tire size along with a line lock.

I got one when they posted it. I really like it. The first switch is probably a little easy to find and known about but finding the second one is going to be tough. Since the directions are pretty accessible I mounted my second one in a different location to, "just in case" a possible thief was familiar with the kit.
