Hi All,
Back in late 2020 I sold my 2019 Redeye Widebody, which I have regretted ever since. I have decided that I want to purchase a 2023 Super Stock in B5 blue. I purchased my Redeye from Koons and was pleased with them and would buy from them again, but it would be a lot more convenient to purchase closer. I live in Southwest Florida (about 1 hour south of Tampa). As I have been out of the loop on the Challenger I was wondering if there are any decent dealers in the state of Florida that are good to work with and provide upfront, realistic pricing. If not, any recommendations?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated...glad to be back.

I don’t think any of the unknowns will be answered until Stellantis announces which dealers get allocations for 23MY! Until then every answer is just a guess.

Asking more if anyone has experience with a Florida dealer that is ok to work with...understand about the allocations, but that is going to happen regardless.

I’d go back with Koons. As a repeat customer you might get a little special consideration, which it might take in 2023. I think it’s gonna be a wild ride. I’m glad mine is sitting behind me as I write this. Those 2000 392 300s they just announced are already sold out, which surprised me a bit at how quick they were gone. I’d get on the horn with Koons tomorrow and tell them your intentions. They can’t place the order yet but at least you’d have preliminary contact made. Might make a difference.

buy from chapman, koons, grainger, or dan cummins.

save yourself the headache from small dealers.

use shaughnessy overland express inc, as your shipper, based in naples, two days for pick up and delivery with real time online tracking 24/7. they are not acting as the broker, they use their own enclosed trucks. Luxury shipper. Shipping My chally cost $1600

My dude sold me a trx but they can go across the cdjr aisle, if you will. Maybe someone here has more of a dodge contact? I use devin, he typical responds to my with emails with in several hours. Text, maybe an hour or less.

[email protected]

as for my dodge, i just email Tom borah, the owner of chapman, he’ll add you to the Internet sales team CC for all replies and communications.

Both teams hold to their promised discount. Dan cummins requires a $500 deposit. Chapman, none.

I'm about to get a JB here in FL, as already stated FL is not the ideal state to find a deal on a car, any car. Most have a doc/junk fee of $995 although you might get lucking and find one of the few that only charge $500-600. They tack on a lot of bs extras which I know a lot of dealers do everywhere but it just sucks when you area already paying a grand in junk fees. It's just a horrible place to buy a car really. But if that is your only option then it is what it is.

NEVER ever buy/order from a FL dealer. One of the "downsides" to Florida is the lack of state control over dealer fees. Almost every dealer has a dealer fee of $799, $899 and even over $1k. Add to that the ADMs and the Addon packages, you are going to be paying thousands over dealers in other states. I came from IL to FL and back in IL its Illegal for dealers to charge more than like $143 for dealer fees and whatnot. All those are controlled.

Problem right now is no information. I have called 4 dealers and each told me basically same thing...they do not know when the order banks open, if the cars will be on allocation and if so how many will be built. Tried to get on some type of wait list but even that is fuzzy. Who thought trying to order a 100k dodge would be so difficult. Not feeling very optimistic about having the opportunity to buy one.

I can help but I am in Texas.
The SS in my garage was built on 08/22 and I can sell it to you if interested.

Kind of funny right on Koons site it shows a 899 processing fee just like every dealer in Florida has.
Well, it's $599 at Cummins but I might have gotten a better OTD price at Koons with some of the late year promotions and some really strong below invoice pricing on NBRE's. I just never felt like getting tangled up in all caveats like you have to finance here to get this % off. From a distance it seemed like less smoke and mirrors at Cummins but both have given good pricing. I had a $499 Doc fee on my first JB order at another dealer but all I got in the end was a cancelled order.
