I feel bad for my buddy his Dodge superstock came and the engine needed to be replaced so they ordered him a new car and now he is just stuck in no man’s land anyone have any idea when they are going to start cranking? I think they should let him get a car sooner since he ordered in early December.

I believe they are reinstating the COVID protocols in the factory. The entire supply chain is a mess. I am more and more grateful that my late-2019 build predates all of this nonsense.

Wow that’s insane! **** Trudeau !!!
Not that I disagree with your sentiment... out of fairness it is a corporate decision:

That article is few weeks old. However, my buddy who works on the line had posted a happy maskless picture about a week ago... but, then had an update the other day that masks were making a comeback. What else that includes I cannot say, but I do imagine Stellantis is risk-managing the situation. Brampton is a very population dense city (I grew up there). It doesn't help that they just halted production in Russia because "I support the current thing" reasons.

Just throwing this out there...

  • Mask mandates at that level were provincial, not federal.
  • Ontario (the province that Brampton is in) only has a mask mandate for hospitals, long-term-care homes, and some forms of public transit.
  • This isn't government mandated.
  • Projections for our sixth wave - which has just begun - indicate it will probably be larger than our fifth, where we had to suspend non-emergency surgeries because hospital capacity was exceeded.
  • We have our fair share of soy-boy man-child softies who can't breathe with a widdle bit of cloth over their drool-holes, causing this.
So hey, don't let facts interfere with your forming opinions on foreign relations policies.

I am hoping someone can shed some light on the subject of if and when the plant is coming back online? Does anyone have any real info on production for the first two quarters of 2024? They have already announced that the Dodge Durango is moving to the MACK assembly plant and the new platform for 2024. That means no HEMI Durango's for 2024. So glad I got my order in when I did.

We moved 3000kms to get away from the debacle.

Map World Line Atlas Parallel

Sure, its snowing right now but I can see the soy-filled bedwetters coming from 100km in any direction - at least when its not snowing, and when it is I know they are stacked up in their practice coffins in the cities - LOL.

They’ve been doing 700-800 cars on most days for a while now, barring little upsets in parts supplies that usually only halt the line for half a day or so.
Everything there has been pretty normal, insofar as production is concerned.

Not sure why some people in here are debating about masks all of a sudden, but I haven’t seen a single peer-reviewed study that confirms cloth masks to be an effective form of PPE against any common viruses, including rhinoviruses and COVID. As far as source control goes, they seem to do little good there, either. Wave after wave - despite the worst forms of hysteria (referred to as “prevention” by the real soy boys) I’ve seen in my lifetime - of viral resurgences have continued to plague various geographic centers since the start of the pandemic. Such is usually the case with a constantly evolving, highly morbid novel virus. There’s little to do except to let it run its course, unfortunately.

Do what you feel is safe, but stop calling it science. Feel free to stay home, too. I, for one, won’t be hiding under the covers in the meantime. Nor will I endorse anymore “relief funds” for those who claim working is just too dangerous, either.

Re Brampton: No more ‘22 Redeye Widebody Challengers, Charger’s or Super Stocks as of last week in March. They are 200 days behind in production which is about the end of the model year. ‘23 production will be short (done by May-June tops) due to converting plant to battery production. Future Challenger and Charger production will be in the U.S.A. Completely all new vehicles. As soon as I get to 40 posts, I have a ‘21 Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody (300 miles) totally built out by Petty’s Garage in Level Cross, N.C. Details available @ 336-894-0072

Doesn't seem correct, as there are people who placed orders 6-7 weeks ago, and now have Jailbreaks in production. I do believe they have constraints with certain parts, but they are not 200 days behind accross the board.

You must conform…to the will of The Party…
masks are total bullshit. I've been in the oilfield long enough to know if you aren't clean shaven any mask won't seal much less some BS paper or cloth ones.
The trick is to wear the same cloth mask for the entire pandemic without ever washing it. That's what I've done, and so far zero CV19 infections. It also serves to keep other people 6 or more feet away, and that helps too.

TOPDAWG Hope all is well. Just posted my first comments since joining the forum in December. I see you have been a member since’15. I don’t know how you deal with these bullshit comments. I would have hung myself by now. Anyway, did not mention Jailbreaks. They are still being produced. That’s where the $$$ is. Have a good one!
