Thanks you're correctIf I remember correctly, your car was damaged in the past ? Hopefully you can find what is going on.![]()
Thanks Jim I wish you could be here tooThat sucks. I wish I could take care off all your cars so they are right. Sorry my extended family
Thanks MVT ! It's phantom black and it sure looks hot! Well I appreciate the sympathy lol I'm getting tired of seeing my dealership in this sense LOLI really hope you find it, you don't deserve any issues now after all you have been thru. Did you say yours is Phantom or Pitch Black ? I posted a couple of Pics in the gallery of my car today. The black cars are the best![]()
Yeah I understand. I appreciate your help very much! I'm sure it will give them some clues as to what to look for first before trying to dissect my brakes too much lolsorry in a way it kind of is to a point. But it's just nuts and bolts.. that's the way I look and everything I take apart for the first time. Nothing my 2 hands can't fix.
Ok I am scheduled to drop it off first thing Monday morning for a week so I will make sure they know about this thanks J!I would not drive it if it's the caliper bolts can FU a rim if they or one falls out
Yes it is Spring. Is your car A8?
Ah ok well I'm usually in street mode.I have noticed I thud as I come to a stop only when the trans is in track mode. But not in default street mode. I think my noise is just a harder downshift to first that makes the brakes grab.
Most definitely. He's the doctor of HellcatsI think most of us that are familiar with Doc, would be taking our cars to him if it was logistically possible. You're an asset to the site Doc.
Thanks is that spline fixable or is it normal?I have ran into similar noise problems that sounds like brakes but was the splines in the driveline having play and clunking coming to a stop. Just something else to think of if all the brakes check out ok.
Thanks I'll tell them this possibility as wellYes they can replace the driveshaft if that's what's making the noise.
I dropped my hellcat off yesterday early in the morning. I won't know until probably Friday this week when 20 items are handled on my checklist of things to fixAny word yet?
