Was just looking at redeye prices and I really was lucky I bought my hc wb (non red-eye)b4 this car crunch. I still have a pic of my ad. 12k off msrp. I bought it in Aug of 2020 for my bday. That's power dollars and a dealer discount. Put down 14k to go with that and I have a car that I could make some money on if I decide to sell. But im gonna keep her forever. SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK DID

May 2020, RE WB ordered for $18k off msrp which included the $7970 rebate. $10k off before the rebate. So yeah my timing for one single time in my life was spot on.

I think when the new year rolls in and tax time hits we’re gonna see a replay of used car values skyrocketing again. Some dealers are seeing new inventory trickling in but it’s in no way fast enough to keep up with the current demand.
This is expected to continue into early 2022....that was already stated by loads of companies that involve chip processing/delivery/etc

I bought my old 392 for 12-13k under sticker CPO with 300 miles on the odometer before COVID. Sold it 3 months ago in this crazy market though. I dont think car values will return to "normal" until fall of 2022 but who knows when anything will be back to normal. My daily beater was recently totaled so I went and bought a brand new Accord sport 2.0T (Surprisingly fun car to drive shocked me) and managed to get a tad off MSRP hell one dealership I went to had a 5k markup on a freakin accord... A Honda Accord WITH A 5K MARKUP!!!! Things are crazy out there and some dealerships are really trying to take advantage of people and sadly some people fall to these crooks.

😄 that's what I'm talking about. I looked at a 2021 wb 392 charger with no markup but the bank or dealer or both tried to give me a 10% apr. Are u crazy? With my score I cursed and left. The next day the car was gone.
