I did. My wire went through at 12:05 so I am hoping I get a good spot on the list. 2 of my friends also got on, but one did it mid-afternoon so he is likely SOL & the other had his transfer go through at 12:13 I believe.
Can't sell your spot so if they don't get one they will hate me.
We will find out next week what spots we all got. If I am ordering the car to keep, or even if I decided to flip & turn $2k into $20k assuming that opportunity was available, I would probably still spec it my way...
Orange over Adrenaline Red & red belts with the high wing. Gray or red calipers. As of now, according to the visualizer anyway, you have to upgrade to carbon ceramic brakes to get orange calipers. Boooooo!! Also can't have dipped red interior with going 3LZ. No thanks. 2LZ for me.
I also don't like the fact that you have to put down 10% of whatever your MSRP is when you order. Since when do people not get to dictate how much or how little they put down on a car etc?!
I'm also thinking of perhaps cross shopping other cars around the same price (new or used is fine by me) now. Maybe take a gander at CT5 Blackwing, used RS7, used R8 V10 Vert. No interest in the Plaid. Lotus Emira doesn't have enough HP for $94k IMO.
