I heard they’re trimming the fat in their EZ order system. Dealers with pending orders that don’t have allocation are finally being given the axe. I was also told that the JB option is being removed from Ez order unless a dealer gets a number.

I hope that’s true. So then I know for sure to move on if mine gets cancelled. Did you hear this from a reputable source?

Not TOO reputable, but the guy was believable. He said his dealer told him he was SOL and the salesman showed him their system and he saw that the 27D package was no longer available to click on. I’d like a little more confirmation, though, if I’m honest.

EZ Order is just the name of the computerized ordering system that Chrysler uses. Doesn’t mean anything.

Honestly, I hope so. I read through some of the posts on that FB group for jailbreaks that guys have been talking about, and it’s just sad: there’s guys that have been sitting at BX - or even BG - status for like 9 weeks, and they still think Dodge is actively working on building their car. Customer care reps don’t know any better, and have been fueling the misinformation that’s causing this, too. Some dealers are clueless; others are trying to get customers off the market and being underhanded. Either way, I hate to see guys that are 2-3 months in the hole that are still crossing their fingers, unless they KNOW their dealers just don’t have allocation and are waiting for a new one to come along. Unfortunately, this doesn’t usually seem to be the case.

if that happens to me I’d be annoyed as hell. I’d probably either order an SS at that point OR save more money for the 2023 and put 50% down. Not sure WTF I’d do.
