I have a 19’ widebody redeye. Only has 9k miles on it. Mostly sits in the garage as it’s a weekend car to cruise to lunch. Took it out and a CEL popped up. Scanned it and it’s a code 2611. A/C Refrigerant Distribution Valve circuit open. A/C blows ice cold, changing the settings it blows fine as well, even when using the SRT modes with the chiller. Clear it, comes Back instantly as pending (takes 20 miles for a drive cycle to fully pop back up)

Little to no info online other then a valve could be bad. Nothing on the site I can find. Curious if anyone has had this and what the fix was and how hard. My factory warranty of course just ended and haven’t had a chance to buy the extended one they offer just yet. Trying to see what it’s all about if anyone is familiar.

Dodge in the OM says, if sitting for more than two weeks, to run the A/C on High for 5 minutes before shutdown, this to keep the system in good condition. The worse thing you can do for an A/C is to let it sit. So maybe try that going forward after you get it working.

I dropped it off at coastline dodge in San Juan Capistrano in southern Ca. They said it needed some a/c line. They kept the car for 2 weeks and kept lying about the part coming in. They finally said it was done, When I went to pick it up, the car was “missing” and they couldn’t find it. Turns out they were out pulling a Ferris bueller road test and we’re ripping around the city at 119mph + according to my gps and top speed history. Also they didn’t ever fix it so no idea why they would even pull it out of the lot.

they put a fresh scratch on the fender that they denied.

They also kept calling me trying to scam me saying I really needed a tire rotation and oil change (tires were installed at my buddy’s tire shop the morning befor and had roughly 40 miles on them, and I also just did an oil change myself the day befor)

Don’t ever take your vehicle to coastline dodge in San Juan if you care about your vehicle. This is my late fathers car who just passed away last month on thanksgiving who he babied it and was his dream car. These assholes didn’t take care of it at all and anytime I try to talk to someone on the phone they hang up on me.

I’ll try running the a/c but it’s always worked fine and blowing ice cold every week when I pull it out to drive it and keep the battery charged up. Just the code pops up after 30 seconds of turning the a/c on.
