Just like the post says, anyone gone from a Trackhawk to a Durango Hellcat? If so, any negatives or positives assuming you don’t care about a third row. I’m thinking about ordering a new Durango Hellcat to replace my 2018 Trackhawk. I love the Jeep, but I’d like to actually order it and get it the way I want. The warranty is a nice touch as well as I’ve used it on the Jeep for over $11k worth of parts and labor in the last two years alone, and the power train warranty is just about up.

I can't directly compare but you will have a little longer wheelbase and gain about 400 lbs. So a cool experiment would be to drive around with 400 lbs. of passengers in your TH and then let them out and go at again..the difference will be in the reverse..

Yeah, if I order I wouldn’t get the tow package or moon roof as I don’t need either and it’s just more weight. My current TH has both, of which I’ve never used either in 4 years. I’m curious to see if any Durango owners have weighed their rig. My Jeep is at 5370 with no driver.

I have tow package, rear dvd, sunroof, etc (every option save for racing stripes, leather seats and red seatbelts 😂)

The 2023 Durango HC will be a great buy at below MSRP.
Invoice pricing is already being offered at many dealerships

I gotta ask ..how is going from a jeep TH to a Durango HC a downgrade?
Because, ITS A DURANGO

Its like dating a hot girl who is rich, was loaded in all the right places and set the example for all but asking what if I date her 50 year old ugly broke fat step sister who has just put on a new shirt and said “hey look at me”

No, not at all. A Durango is every bit as nice as a Grand Cherokee, it just offers more room.

But a Jeep, is just that...a Jeep....nothing about Jeep says class, even their top level trim

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 set the benchmark for the first time since the GMC Typhoon. It was the SUV to beat, the fastest, best, and standard all others tried to achieve. The Trailblazer SS(AWD and RWD) fell short just like the Durango IMO.
I know we all have different opinions. The Durango is the same Durango that was laughed at from a decade ago, cause under the badges and interior it’s still a Durango.

I agree...just don't fool yourself into think the Jeep is any better...because at the end of the day its still a Jeep

Yes they have more seats for passengers, if that's what you need.
As far as being every bit as nice, I strongly disagree.
The Jeeps has nasty plastics, questionable fit and finish, and looks dated and tired when brand new.
The Durango is 2X worse.

That's my point no one buys ANY of these things for the interiors. But having spent time in both...If I had to pick one as having the better place to spend time, it would hands down be the Trackhawk. It's just an objectively nicer interior.
The only reason to get the Durango over a Trackhawk is if you need the room for extra passengers.

Have you been in a 2021+ Durango? I objectively find the TH interior less appealing. 🤷 If I had a radio update to fix my current quirks the DDHC would be perfect. More room, seats more people, tows great and puts up the same performance numbers as the TH.
