Just curious if anyone has plans of selling their cat for a profit? After hearing what they are selling for at some dealers I was curious if anyone is planning on trying make a quick buck.

If I got approached for $100k or more, they will leave with a key in hand and I'll cab it home. I just can't pass up a $30k profit. I'll go buy something to get me around for $10k used and get back in line for a 2016 model.

Agreed. That's a nice profit and will make the 2016 a lot cheaper!

With tax/title/reg added to give you your real cost, even $10k over MSRP doesn't leave much profit to make it worth it IMO. It would have to be a deal where someone literally makes a stupid, but serious offer. Besides, looks like the 2015 Charger HCs are going to be pretty rare and not sure I'd want to move on from that so quickly.

Do tell how you managed two high speed rollovers. We love a good story (or two).

If you see him out back at dusk with a shovel in his hand I'd be concerned. Somebody offered me 100K I'd walk home if necessary.

First one I was 19 and radial tires were just coming on the market and my best friend got some on his 72 Torino. Winding road and he wanted to show mre handling, too bad @ 100mph we hit gravel on the berm and we flipped eight times (felt like slow motion) I counted everyone while Skynyrd's That Smell was going through my head as that album just came out. We stopped cuz the car hit a cut down tree over two feet in diameter at the driver rocker panel. It wrapped it around the driveshaft so he climbed out that hole (car upside down). My seat belt snapped (we both had them on) my got smacked and my door was against the tree. I had to roll down my window to climb out. My right hip was so tender for 6 weeks I rode my motorcycle until it healed as I couldn't wear a seat belt. Being a tech I had a hard time working and had others test drive my work as it really freakin hurt! You really want #2 story? Tired of typing.

72 Torino... Nice. You were quite progressive wearing seat belts in 1972.

Yup, second story please...

I think I would have to make at least 10K on the sale over tax title and license (puts it around $80K). Even then, I would get right back in line in 2016. This car (Challenger) is amazing. Everyone loves it, even my wife. I have had it for just over a week now, and every night, like clockwork, at 8:45 Mrs. BigDrC tells me to back the Cat out of the garage cause she needs to blow off some steam.

Drag racing taught us both to wear seat belts. The State trooper was impressed and said it saved us, like we didn't know that.

Next was July 2004 hot summer night had the windows down driving home from world premier (Audi freebie since a TT was in it) of I Robot my buddy and I were talking work stuff and going 85 down the highway in the far left lane. He didn't notice our exit (which we know very well) and all of a sudden he cuts across 4 lanes into the cloverleaf. Being a seasoned pro at rollovers I felt it coming and said Oh Schlitz and that car rolled four times(once again all in slow mo) and all 4 hits were my side. This time all I can think of is whether I'll live or smash my head. Driver side unscathed he got a scratch on his leg. I got a broken shoulder, torn rotator, severely bruised ribs and a banged up knee. This car had front, head and side airbags and seat belt on. Realize that they only help on the initial hit, the subsequent hits were body to car. After it came to rest upside down I couldn't get my seat belt off as my right shoulder didn't move. My buddy climbed back in and released it and then I fell on to the roof. I laid there and had a helluva time getting out due to my shoulder as my buddy can't pull on it. When I did crawl out I got up but had to lay down as too much was hurting, ambulanced to hospital. I never missed a day of work and no one really knew how bad I was as I wouldn't tell them. I do know that Saturday the driver and I polished off a bottle as that eased the pain when passed out.

Fast forward to December and my ribs had healed (bruised ribs really hurt, short breaths only) and I had my broken right shoulder and rotator repaired. That hurt more than the accident believe that or not. I nice 2 inch wood screw holding the bone together. Well later it loosened( must have had low batt in the DeWalt) so the screw was trying to come through the skin. This results in a surface pain like a knife along with the deep pain of the broken bone. No pain killers as I didn't want to become an addict. Then all the PT and so on.
