a fellow Hellcat charger blasted by me the other day and I have to say I liked the way it sounded . It was loud but not too obnoxious . I’m pretty sure this is easily done , but I was worried about any potential side effects ?

I replaced all of mine with vibrants .

1795 in the front. 1794 in the rear.

Does absolutely nothing. My last Hellcat I took of the resonators and litterally sounded the same maybe worse. Then I got the mid pipes taken off, insanely loud and obnoxious if high rpm’s and cold start. My advice if you don’t want that just stick to stock or get a full exhaust like Corsa with quad tips

Resonators? The mid-muffler tall soup cans right?

I like the sound when I got them chopped.

The muffler shop manager asked why I was doing it. He held up one of the cans and looked straight through it.
He said he didn't think the sound would change without them.

After his guy welded up the straight pipe replacements, the manager fired it up to back it out of the bay.
He got a smile, and said, "Yeah.... it does sound better.".

The exhaust pops more now too on rich startup and decel.

Are some of the hellcats still showing up stock with the turbo style mufflers (mid) or does the factory exclusively use the straight thru muffs these days?
