Ok folks, we are about a week away from the Hot Rod Power Tour. Does anyone know of a way to import a Google Map route into Uconnect? I realize this is probably a long shot.

If no way to transfer, is it possible to enter the routes manually into Uconnect. I have looked online and found a couple sites that elude to this possibility.

If it's a 2017 or newer, can't you save the route in google maps (save to offline) on your phone and then use Car Play or Android Auto to display it in Uconnect?

@Slidd It is a 2018 so perhaps this is how to manage it. I do have the files saved on my phone. I saw something online where you have to ensure settings are correct for CarPlay to read Google maps. I may need to make a run with it and see if it works.

being a 2018 I would go the Carplay route, make sure Google maps is working well with carplay, but that will work

That said, this eliminates one of the aspects that made Power Tour interesting, and that was trying to follow the written directions LOL

Have you tried entering known good destination GPS coordinates into the uConnect Nav to see if it will create a route and then follow?

@Blickie No and the reason is I have a route that has been made in Google maps. I am sure I could manually add this but this would be time consuming with all the turns. So I am trying to cheat and figure out something easy.

i think it's possible through Uconnect somehow. I swear I've done this in my 2015 that didn't have carplay.

found this:

578473

seems like that send 'n go thing would work? maybe not for a specific route?
