So I have to ask what is the average MPG you guys are getting out of the HC with the 8 speed. I'm hearing that guys are actually getting upwards of 25 mpg going around 70 mph. That to me is impressive. Hell I barely get 23 out of the '12 Durango on the highway.

Haha....ya I get about that with the Ram, the Magnum and the Durango so I'm expecting no better with the HC around town. And 21 in a new engine isn't to bad actually it's amazing when you think that it has 707 HP!

How much better do you like your HC compared to your previous Caddy?

I wouldn't say I like my Hellcat better they are very different. I like that the Hellcat can run the same 10 second quarter mile as my heavily modded V but with a warranty.

The V was a lot more on the luxury side where the Cat is a big brutish muscle car. They are both great cars.

The new V has 650 hp and will be an awesome car.

Have you been inside a Charger yet? I'm hearing that the interior is nicer than the Chally? Either way they are both impressive rides. And yes great numbers with a warranty!

Who cares. Get a Prius if you are concerned about gas mileage ;)

If I was concerned this wouldn't be the 3rd Hemi in the garage and 4th V8 currently in the stable. It's just nice to brag to people that it gets decent mileage on the highway.

Everyone knows that a heavy foot can bring wide smiles to the face of a Hellcat driver. I just like the looks of others when you tell them that a honkin muscle car can get upwards of 17 miles on average around a small city with some playing.

Buddy I did have thoughts about a CTS V Wagon pre Challenger Hellcat but they are just not good looking cars

It's going to be incredible, a true M and AMG fighter. But I can't say that I've warmed up to the styling. I like the looks of the ATS-V, but I don't care for the new CTS-V. The price is also a bit on the steep side. It's a lot pricier than the last generation.

So it's not an 8 spd, but in my CAT (6spd) I got 21.1 on at trip up to Jacksonville and back. Now I was following my 16 year old son on his first dirve (1996 Dodge Ram 1500), so needless to say I was not blowing past all the Slomaros and Mustangs. We were were doing 5 miles an hour over the posted speed limits ( 65 - 75). Around town I typically get 17 mpg

highway running 80+ mph or so on trips Im seeing 21-23
playing on backroads in sport mode, usually 17-18
Its shocking to me that this car is so big with so much HP and Im getting these numbers.
My 04 6sp GTO could barely break 18-19 if I babied it.
