So what is the average time from going to D1 with a solid build date to getting the car at the dealership? I'm hearing 6-8 weeks after the build. I thought it was 6 weeks from D1 to the dealership. That seems like a long time for a built car to just be sitting around a yard to me.

Mine sat for almost 7 weeks in the holding yard after being completed before being shipped. From order day to driving it home was 13.5 weeks. My dealership told me 9 to 13 weeks, so they were rather accurate.

My 2016 also took about 14 weeks, my 2018 (canceled) took almost 20 weeks, so, not a method to the madness aside from the fact that it will come when its done.

I ordered 8/11. Not sure when exactly it got D1; it was pretty early on. I got it 10/23. This is about 10 weeks.

Most of that was sitting in D1. After being built, it sat for about 1 week before shipping.

I orderd redeye Aug 15 only went to d1 11 1 its taking a long time . Black hood ,h k sound 309 rear,torred color, black allacantra with rear seat delete.
