Ever seen a Redeye 300C? | SRT Hellcat Forum

yes. but its stupid because the 300C is, and always will be the poor mans Bentley to me and growing up in Baltimore seeing them absolutely trashed at all times, I hate those cars.
I get the idea of there being a lot more shitty examples than nice examples, but I prefer the 15+ 300C over the 15+Charger, unless you get into the wide body cars, that’s a different story.

Its 4029 pounds, and shares the same chassis with the charger, why would it break parts?
Yeah it’s 4029lbs before you add all the Parts needed to go with the Hellcat drivetrain and then figure out how to get the beefy AWD setup off a Hellcat SUV to fit.

The original AWD setup that came with the 5.7 would shatter and go flying in short order.

Not possible to keep AWD.
It is possible to swap the entire Hellcat RWD drivetrain though. You will need the front and rear cradles from the hellcat though.

Pretty sure he was referring to the AWD parts.

You bought the wrong parts car. You need a wrecked Trackhawk.
I am a mechanic of computers so forgive my lack of knowledge, but is there a way to have matching dimensions for the wheelbase in the 300 while using the trans and diff from the trackhawk? I know going RWD with a Hellcat donor is plug and play in the 300 from all the youtube videos, but I have yet to see anyone do a trackhawk "drivetrain" transplant.

DIMENSIONS SPECIFICATIONS

LENGTH 200.3 in OR 5088 mm
WIDTH 74.2 in OR 1885 mm
HEIGHT 58.3 in OR 1481 mm
FRONT/REAR TRACK 63.4/63.1 in OR 1,610/1,603 mm
--> WHEELBASE 120.2 in OR 3053 mm
GROUND CLEARANCE 4.37 in OR 111 mm

DIMENSIONS AND CAPACITIES

Track, Front 65.7 (1,636) Track, Rear 64.8 (1,645)
-->Wheelbase 114.7 (2,913.7)

Overall Length 189.8 (4,822) Overall Width (Width at Mirrors) 84.8 (2,154) Body Width 76.5 (1,943) Overall Height (at Roof Rail / at Antenna) 67.9/70.0 (1,724/1,778) Load Floor Height 32.6 (829) Sill Step Height 20.7 (527) Ground Clearance 8.1 (205.4) Chassis (Fuel Tank) 9.1 (231) Front Axle 8.97 (227.8) Rear Axle 8.99 (228.3)

Trackhawk AWD system IS NOT THE SAME....Yes, you can use it, but it wont fit in the car the same way....it will sit up much higher and requires some work.

The AWD system that came in the Charger/300C will not handle the HP - it was already failing with just a mild HP modification on the 5.7...hell some were failing bone stock...

This is imaginative.
I think your primary concern would be vertical clearances, as in, having to re-mold the entire floor pan to take the beefier AWD goods as they protrude in every direction relative to car-tier AWD. You may still lose ground clearance.

But, watching the snots at Cars And Liberalism track days all cry when a Hellcat clawed out of corners faster than a Porsche WunderWagon would be worth paying for. I would suggest finding a way to put the same-size rotor rings on front and rear, and same with the calipers. Especially fun if they don't know it's AWD.
