This system is exactly what i wanted. I was so worried it just be loud with no character or any kind of tuned type sound. But its loud with a finely tuned note. This system has exceeded my expectations. Old school muscle with a precision tuned sound.
If you have neighbors close, or live in an apartment setting cold starts will make them mad so it may not be for you! But driving through the neighborhood I can actually keep it rather quiet if i go slow so that's good. But when you get on it be prepared it is loud and tough. Dont be fooled by what your hearing in the car. As good as it sounds in the car, I got out of the car and had my wife drive it by me and wow its mean. Find a tunnel or overpass and get on it and you will lose your hearing! As for Drone certainly not as much as i thought. I am glad I didn't go with a quieter version. I think I would have been let down honestly because this is exactly what I was looking for.

Couldn't be happier. Mine has the valve simulators, no check engine light. Technician at my shop said install went great, was surprised all they give you is zip ties instead of a bracket for the actuators.

So you got the Track Edition?
My car is complimented all the time for the AWE sound. And yes those cold starts are awesome!

Congrats on the upgrade!

If I'm being honest, you're not really getting signature AWE sound with the track exhaust because there's no mufflers. The AWE signature sound comes from their touring exhaust which uses their 180 mufflers. You are getting AWE's fantastic build quality and exhaust tips with the track exhaust.

Track Edition Exhaust

For those who like it raw and rowdy, the Track Edition is for you. The Track Edition shares the same integrated H-pipe and precision engineering as its Touring Edition counterpart, minus AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

In place of the 180 Technology® resonator in the rear lies a Track Edition straight section. As a result, this version is known to get (really) rowdy in mid range acceleration and deceleration, and may be too much for many. Due to this reason, AWE Track Edition Exhausts cannot be returned based on sound preference. You’ve been warned.

Tip Options

This Track Edition Exhaust comes with 4.5" double-walled slash-cut tips in Diamond Black.

What’s in the box?

Complete Track Edition Exhaust, two 4.5” slash-cut tips in desired finish, and all necessary hardware for installation.

This Part Fits The Following Vehicles:

  • 2015+ 6.4L Dodge Charger Scat Pack
  • 2017+ 6.4L Dodge Charger Daytona 392
  • 2015+ 6.4L Dodge Charger SRT 392

Just stating that most of the signature AWE sound comes from the mufflers which they use on almost all their exhaust if not all of them. The H-pipe might change the tone slightly too, but with no mufflers, you're really just getting an open exhaust sound. The touring exhaust sounds amazing.

Your explanation is good as usual.

I use the description, because it gives a nice detail.
