Here’s WBRE axles along side normal Hellcat Axle.
The normal Hellcat Axles sure look stronger from the out side, they weigh about 4 lbs a piece heavier too. On the outside they are dimensional the same spline and length wise. The RE ones do not accordion no where near as much as the HC ones. The RE ones supposedly have a heavier spline count into the CV hub on the inside, I wonder if the hubs pare made out of better steel or not?? Wonder how much stronger they really are? Anyone ever break either??

I had boots tear on my DSS axles and my stock Hellcat axles but not on my Redeye axles. I don't know of anyone that has broken a Redeye axle, not saying they don't exists but it must be super rare to never hear of it. I've seen DSS axles broken and of course stock Hellcat axles. The only way I know you would have any vibration on the DSS axles would be if the CV joint has developed some wear and play. Ask me how I know.

I’ve had boots fail on DSS Axles that only saw 2-3000 miles, CV’s too. I may give these RE ones a try. They are almost 5 lbs per axle lighter then the stock axles. I haven’t compared them weight wise to the DSS ones.

The DSS axles are good but I think their best quality is that they can be rebuilt. I think the Redeye axles are awesome though, they seem to be extremely durable.

The CV system in the new Demon/Redeye axle is really special. It has 8x ball joints compared to 6x everything else has I believe. The axle is larger and more splines are attached into those CV’s also. I know after a couple of us busted every CV boot made or even custom units made for me, the RE units don’t bust on the same track.

2 passenger side axles let go on me with only 3,500 miles of being lowered on my 2020 WB Charger. Went back to OEM springs and have been fine ever since.
For reference I was running KW coilovers with all AAD components for alignment.

I just broke an axle on my 15 Hellcat. Wondering if going RE DS would be a better
option?

Will the RE axles interchange with a 2015 Challenger HC?

Why would a Redeye driveshaft be considered when you broke an axle?
