I recently purchased a 2016 hc challenger with a 4.5 Whipple. When I get on it hard it has really bad wheel hop, so bad that it threw its self into limp mode and i had to cycle the key to get it home. I wanted to get your guys input on rear suspension components that I can try to get this taken care of. Thanks

I wrote about his already, and if you search, you may be able to find it, but the very brief version of wheel hop etc. is that the resilient parts of the suspension/driveline are allowed to compress, reach their limit, then bounce back, over and over and over. Locking them solidly in place removes the compression to their limit and the bounce-back, thus no hop. It also makes for a much harsher ride.

With tons of hp, such as the Top classes of drag racing, they get what is called the "shakes." which is this, on a faster level, using the resilience of the tires itself as the compressible medium. Very destructive, and also physically punishing for the driver.

All the rear suspension arms are the same as the ones in a SXT 3.6 .
I recommend the AAD Dragpack , or at least the 2 lower arms , they
do make a big difference. A Performance Development front and rear
diff brace , it is sold as a package deal. I also installed a BMR cradle lock
out kit , I can't recommend their lower arms. I'm down to low 1.4 60 foots
no wheel hop " none" It's gone the Redeye is happy. I did install the Diablo
sport suspension controller and Carlyle Racing Demon killer springs over
the weekend and hope test it Friday night at SGMP.

Thanks 376 Hemi.

What's your feedback on the "Diablo sport suspension controller and Carlyle Racing Demon killer springs"?
I'm looking at installing them on the 2019 Hellcat Widebody and hopefully improving rolling & launch grip for daily driver (not drag related).

I'm also about to install the Front & Rear diff brace, AAD Wheel Hop Eliminator, Spohn End Links, BMR Cradle Lock and looking at DSC Suspension Controller and some softer springs.

I haven't tested it yet. I am hoping to run at SGMP , Cecil ,Ga tonight. Weather forecast show's 60% chance
of Thunder storms late afternoon into the evening. If not tonight my next shot is Saturday the 28th , Gainesville
Fl. I will post my times once I get some runs in. As a side note I called Diablo to clarify " Can improve 60' with
proper technique". Their answer was use launch control. I prefer to foot brake it , but I will test it using launch
control. Your on the right track with your planned suspension mods. You have get these cars to hook before
you throw more power at them. It's frustrating to have cars with less power and better traction beat you.
I recommend a pair of MT Street SS's with your set up , just be aware that they are speed rated to 168 I believe.
