Had some decent weather for a change last week and took my new Red-eye to the track to get some baseline runs.

Car is completely stock with 3.09 diff, NO mods of any kind except the rear tires and wheels, Forgestar D5s with MT 305/45/17 ETRs at 20psi.

Best run was a 10.53 on the last run of the day, DA about 1600/1800 82'.

Are the Forgestar D5s 10.5 or 11 wide? Where purchased?

17x10 +30 offset, 6.6 bs, got them from Summit Racing.

how long did you have to let it cool down between runs?

Was 3rd of 3 back to back to back runs, about 20mins between them from end of run and back in line then to next, no cold downs.

No they are single piece rims, they weigh about 17 lbs each and the tire is about 35lbs, about 12 lbs lighter than stock wheel and tire.

Curious. Just 0.54 seconds until you are in the nines. I wonder how it would run with just a vel stack on the intake tube, and no filter.

No idea, am running stock filter, do you have any experience with it?

I was thinking of getting a KN or screen to use just at the track, but not sure if it will make much of a difference.

Redeye WB .309s.. Atco last weekend. 315 555R2 rears. LMI CAI. Drove the car there.. my IATs were a bit hot running around 145 degrees. ^^^ it was in the 70s out with some humidity.. didn’t launch the car as hard as I could.. was my first time drag racing. Won both races I’m right lane both times..

Well I wasn’t being overly aggressive, but using the paddle shifter I just foot braked and had my right on the ga.. no preload boost or rpm just when the light turned I Gave it like 2/3 gas then shifted to second and let her rip from there

Made some progress today, even though I was only able to get 1 run in (track overcrowded, cars breaking left and right and then started to pour around 2:30) but at least it was a good one. DA was 1050, am on right.

Only changes were rear seat delete, removed trunk mats and air tire inflator, Diablo Suspension controller, and a little better weather 😁.

Another question for you. Did you have to install shorter (swaybar) end links to run those 17x10 Forgestars?
