I disconnected the battery and installed the intake but now my backup camera doesnt show on my uconnect screen and the SRT pages don't work. Any recommendations or why this would happen
Check your battery terminals and ensure they're TIGHT. Aside from that, I'd look for any codes. I didn't do the install, so I don't know what could have been damaged accidentally or left disconnected.I disconnected the battery and installed the intake but now my backup camera doesnt show on my uconnect screen and the SRT pages don't work. No faults; everything is connected correctly. I am just asking if you have to have Uconnect for SRT pages and the backup cameraCheck your battery terminals and ensure they're TIGHT. No but mine trips out sometimes cuz I no longer have a Uconnect subscriptionDoes it cost use the SRT pages?
No i did check the 10 amp fuse 42 I think for camera. It was goodThat happened to me once.... don't remember what I did to clear the problem.
Try pulling the battery cable again, but just for 5-10 minutes.
Drive the car around the block, or just wait a while.
Did you mess with anything in the fuse box in the trunk recently?
Subscription is not required for SRT pages or camera. No but mine trips out sometimes cuz I no longer have a Uconnect subscription
*can’t get in thru favorites. Have to push the scat pack button down below and go in thru there
Agreed but in the case with these specifically it is like clockwork. Pulling the cable will restart the process. Time is what it takes.Modern computers don’t necessarily do the exact same thing every time they boot up.
That’s why I suggested to pull the battery cable for a few minutes.
I see that frequently clears issues in my everyday work.
You may be right, but as I remember from seeing this on my car, I didn't have to wait a long time to fix it.Agreed but in the case with these specifically it is like clockwork. Pulling the cable will restart the process. Time is what it takes.
Oh def wont hurt anything. But remember why OP is having this issue to begin with, he disconnected the battery lol. You are right, not every instance will be the same. Who knows, he may get lucky but considering how this began he may be entering into a never ending cycle lol. Would be nice if everyone had the same experience that you did though. We see this question asked continuously. You may be right, but as I remember from seeing this on my car, I didn't have to wait a long time to fix it.
I never saw the start over again time penalty.
From what I remember, it was just a quick 10-30 seconds disconnecting the battery that fixed it.
It certainly won't hurt anything to try it.
Yes, I know. I'm not losing my mind. lol>But remember why OP is having this issue to begin with, he disconnected the battery lol.
I already did that. Thats why I got a problemModern computers don’t necessarily do the exact same thing every time they boot up.
