Hello forum
Can anyone tell me before I take it to dealership for joyride it!!

1. How long the battery should last on 16 hellcat charger and how warranty works?
2. Can battery give problems if there is no warning or malfunction light in display?
3. What could be the reason for it to drain to the level that couldn’t even turn the ACC on with in in 10 minutes of putting it back and when I charged it overnight around 10 hours at 2amp.

Please members advise on what battery should I get to replace the stock.

Bad battery most likely or an electrical issue.

These cars use an enormous amount of computer control unlike the cars of days gone by.. Headlights may light, radio may play, car will not crank if voltage is too low for the computer. Common complaint as many of these sit for some time.

Sounds like a dead cell. Call your dealer for warranty verification but I believe it's covered under the 5 year portion of you MFR warranty.

2016 with original battery? It's done.
There's no factory warranty on that battery.
Yes they die without any dash lights popping up.
It's cooked, buy a new one.

3-4 yrs is the average for people like me who dont use a daily tender. Those who do will def see almost double that in many cases for sure.
Seems like a no brainer but I’ve never claimed to be the brightest bulb on the tree. Also I just don’t want to bother. Pure laziness really. Forgive me father for I have sinned…

Batteries mounted in the trunk last 2 to 3 years longer than in a warm engine compartment. However, long and multiple periods of inactivity (2 to 3 weeks) will shorten life by that amount or more. I'll bet that we have more than a few 2015 Hellcats with the original battery still going strong. Most likely, some pre-2010 Challengers still have the original battery.

I had an intercooler pump that drew power when off that caused me some battery grief. It took the dealer a while to diagnose the draw. The pump was replaced under warranty and it's been good for a couple of years now. It killed two batteries before it was isolated. If the car sat for more than two days without running it would be dead. Now it can sit for weeks (not that it does) and be fine .

Was one of those random 2015s still rocking that OEM battery. Finally replaced it two weeks ago after a few weak starts. Now have a high end interstate battery that I’m having to charge As I type. Car stranded me on a food run. went to bed with the battery reading 12.6V, woke up this morning to 11. Kinda want my old battery back.
