Hey all,
So to sum things up, I have a 2016 Hellcat Challenger A8. I'm running a 2.85 Hellraiser upper, Ripatuned Incognito lower (pinned) and Ripatuned infinitely adjustable idler pulley. My SC belt is a Gates K100594. My car has just over 19k miles on it and the setup, maybe 1k miles on it if that..The past few weeks I was experiencing a small bit of belt squeal at start up, which you can still hear in the video I took today..However today I noticed I'm getting the belt squeal while driving, specifically during gear changes and while on the throttle..Upon visually inspecting the SC belt tensioner, it appears the belt is too tight, as the notch is to the right..My main question is does the placement of that notch on the OE tensioner matter with the ripatuned adjustable idler installed or does the adjustable idler make the notch placement on the OE tensioner pointless?
Strangely enough, my A/C is also not blowing cold air..I dont see any A/C lines touching and the compressor clutch/pulley appears to be operating normally, so I'm hoping the A/C issue is just separate and it just needs a recharge..All other accessories seem to operating fine and the accessory drive belt looks fine..You can see the tensioner for the accessory drive in the video, is the movement normal? The car is cammed so you have to give it a second for the RPM's to come down at startup lol.
