More specifically anyone in here from Utah and ordered from one of our dealers? Going in Saturday to hopefully order, but after seeing the horror stories with dealers claiming allocations, and others not even knowing what an allocation is? Really would just like to avoid that at all costs..

I would just order at a good dealer out of state and have it delivered or road trip it home. Pick from the ones that offer below invoice...

I've seen posts from Koons advertising 5% under invoice.
I recall seeing a few other dealers mentioned as well--might just have to search this and the other forums a bit. There's a few threads about it.

I will definitely be calling and seeing what they can do for me. Also read on the forum the other day that dodge will be releasing more info this month about ordering process an what's going on exactly

Most dealerships will know less about the car than you will--all they'll be able to tell you is what the ordering screen tells them.
In 2011 I ordered an IE 392 at the Doug Smith in AF. They had no idea what it was--but it pulled up and so they let me place the order. They had no idea what to even price it at initially.
I bought my HC off the lot from an out-of-state dealer online/over the phone and had it transported to my front door. I honestly think that's as good an experience as driving it off a lot.

I talked to the salesmen today at LarryH in bountiful, they told me they had 2 allocations and both have been filled, so I appreciated their honesty and they'd let me know if they get more, but they didn't sound too positive on that. I will definitely look into ordering out of state now, seems like everyone is doing it so it cant be that terrible.
