I want to find the best price for a Genuine Mopar Extended Warranty. I'm looking for the max coverage we can get for our Hellcats.

I'm looking for a 8 year full coverage for a 120k miles...

Thanks, DB

I know any dealer can sell me one, but I don't want to have to call 20 random Dodge dealers to find the best price (if I don't have to). A few years ago, there was a GM dealership out of state, selling genuine GM warranties for about 30% of list price...all the guys on the Corvette Forums were buying them there. I got a great dealer and I did it all over the phone.

I was hoping to find a Dodge that will geive a good discount...does anybody know of one?

Dealer will try 2-3 times what your can get it online... The address Jim posted above sounds familiar (unable to view it at the moment though to verify)

Dealers list price for their factory backed plans are marked up between 100 and 125%. There is plenty wiggle room. F&I and/or salesmen get a big cut, thus the reason for the hard sell.

There is a dealer in Michigan that sells them cheap. Harold Zeigler Dodge. wesite is factoryplans.com I think
That's where I bought mine. Not sure if it was the 'cheapest' but it was very competitive and the guy is a class act. Very organized, efficient and helpful.

Once I paid I had the documents in my email in minutes followed up by paper copies mailed to be soon after. Everything was in order. Went back and bought a Jeep warranty from him a few months later for a friend. Saved her a boat load over what the local dealer wanted.

website is www.factoryplans.com and the guy behind the scenes is Bob Cline

Glad to hear it. I have several customers at work I have given his name too. He was cheaper a couple years ago even. The prices have gone up quite a bit too. Chrysler is very funny about the warranties. If your finance drot doesn't sell enough they restrict the amount of money they cover before you have to call in claims. We priced a max care for a buddy of mine and Zeigler was half the price. Imagine that

Interesting... Are you saying that if you sell a lot of warranties as a dealer they just cover the claims and if you don't you need to get them pre-approved. That's how I'm reading what you said but not sure.

Where I live there are really no large Dodge dealers. Sure some sell more than others but the Dodge dealers are very small compared to Ford and Chevy around here. There is a Chevy dealer near me that probably sells more cars in a day than any of the Dodge dealers in a month.
