I am getting ready to go Michelin Pilot Sport 3-N-Spec. The rears will be 305/40/20 and fronts 275/40/20.
Should gove great contact, especially with the Repros 10.5” rear rims.
Gove me ablut 2 weeks and i can really give a review once it is all installed.

Curious, will that throw off the traction control with the tire heights being so different? Ran into that on one of my cars in the past. 305/35 wouldn't but the 40 is what sparked my interest.

The factory size is a 40. The 2018 came with 275/40/20 on all four corners. I went with 10.5” rears soo i could safely run the 305’s
Yes the factory size is 275/40. The 305/40 is a taller tire by about half an inch. Tire height is the function of the sidewall (aspect ratio) and width. So your front tires will be going 2mph slower at 65 than the rears. Some abs and traction control systems mess up in those situations.

Not saying it will on a challenger but if you see anything odd check that. Tuned in for results as I like the idea as long as it plays friendly with the computers.

I wanted to stick to factory 40 series for front. A 35 rear would have cuased an even more gap in the wheel well.
The 40 will allow for the 305 wide rear and fill just a bit more of the wheel well. My front sits very nice with factory 40 series. The rear still has about 2.5 fingers clearance. Inthink the 305/40/20 will look realy good with the 10.5” rims.

Ok, mine didn't settle for over a year, and 11K miles. I'm talking 3/4" - 1" rear, and 1/2" front. New, mine looked like a 4-wheeler! I bought Dodge lowering springs, but never needed them, and still have them!

Good god, people starting throwing sizes and data around with no *** details. Give examples, street or strip. it isn't that difficult.
Love it when people get all pissy and pushy when they want your advice or feedback

2 suggestions on brands/tires were already made and the conversation about tire size is EXTREMELY important if you don't want to F up your cars computer signals and also get the most tire possible under it. Sorry if that isn't entertaining for you to read but it is IMPORTANT information for anyone wanting to make a tire change.
