Hey guys,
It’s getting about that time to replace the tries on my 2021 charger 392 scat pack. I was curious of what tires you guys are running on yours ?. I’m currently running pirelli P-zeros on mine. Good tires but just wanted to try something different. Wanting to stay around $200-$250 a tire.
thanks in advance !

Love the Pirelli high performance tires on my 2020 Scat Pack. Head and shoulders above the Pirelli all season tires that came on my 2018 Hellcat.

With another car that came from the factory with Pirelli summer tires at some point -- when the price difference was marginal -- switched to Michelin tires. Really without looking I could not tell which tire was on the car. Ran Michelin tires for a few years than during a tire line change over and the right tires for my car were on back order I switched back to Pirelli.

You can try Michelin tires, of course. Don't know what if any price premium they might have over Pirelli tires.

But when the Pirelli tires on my Scat Pack need replacing I'm pretty sure I'm just going to stick with Pirelli.

If you skid face-first into a wall, let us know how you feel about the Greasellis.
If your Pirellis were excellent tires, either
A) you are a Pirelli shareholder, and/or
B) you just got incredibly lucky.

Everyone else hates them.

The all season Pirellis are horrible tires. God only knows why Dodge chose to fit these to the Hellcat.

The Pirelli tires on the Scat Pack are the high performance tires, not the all season tires which my Hellcat came with.

The high performance Pirelli tires give me no reason to fear them. Just the opposite in fact. They have good grip at least in dry conditions and I find myself slowly regaining my confidence in tires and pushing the Scat Pack harder thanks to the tires.

Besides the Scat Pack I ran Pirelli high performance tires -- the car came with these tires from the factory -- for approx. 200K miles. The remaining 100K+ miles I ran Michelin high performance tires. In my experience I could not tell which tires were on the car. Both brands delivered exceptional grip and the same tire life. The Michelin tires could have been a bit less noisy when worn but not enough to justify paying any price premium for them.

To each his own but I suspect a good number of negative comments about Pirelli tires is just some parroting what they have read here and on other forums. And probably in reference to the all season version which are lousy, ill suited for a Hellcat or even a Scat Pack.

Because of my Pirelli experience I have no reservations recommending them -- well, the high performance tires at least -- for the Scat Pack provided the tires selected have the factory called for tread wear/hardness/load/speed rating. IOWs the factory sanctioned Pirelli tires. I'm definitely not a fan of going off the reservation regarding tires and selecting tires just because they are round, black and don't fall off the wheel...

I agree. I have my OEM PZ4 Pirelli tires mounted up on their rims for track days when rain is happening or expected. I was very surprised at the performance they delivered when I used them for a couple of sessions at Road America in May. The only way that they will get “greasy” and slide you in a wall is if it is your own fault. They have taken an unfair evaluation and beating by many for a long time.

So, Pirelli. 2 votes for and everyone else who has directly experienced them against. Curious if it is only the Pirelli No Season tires that are the main culprit? What I find objectionable is their intentional equipping of the car with crummy tires. So they are all season. So are other tires, other tires that don't suck.

And the tire belt misalignment/slippage issues? What would one do to cause a tire to do that and go wildly out of balance? Their bad rep is not only due to laughable traction, but to structural failure. The Atturos can crumble internally, as in, chunks of casing rubber inside, evidently, also. Either a LOT of people are being well-paid to shill against Pirelli, or they suck, if not all their tires, the corporate attitude of dumping the cheap crap on Americans.

The other thing about Pirelli is that they carry those tires in every size necessary for OEM figment or about any mod we can dream up.

That is a plus, and, in fact, the tires they didn't evidently specifically screw up to spite the American Hellcat owners are probably forced to not suck, as they are meant for European exotics, and they cater to them.

I think that whatever Dodge's parent company was put out a stupidly, insultingly low price for the OE tires, and everyone else, in lieu of offering tires with straw belts and copper beads or whatever to get down to the extortionately low OEM wholesale bulk per-tire price, just passed it up, but Pirelli said, Okay, you want cheap tires, you GOT cheap tires.

I think that is the only likely explanation. No one else could find a way to balance their image/reputation with 20 bucks/tire or whatever the parent conglomerate was offering.

Daily Driven Scat.
Nitto NT555G2 front
Nitto NT555R2 rear
Reasonable cost. Very pleased with them.
I get pretty much the same wear on the rear R2s as I did on the Hellcat Pirelli; because it does not spin/burn as much.
Caveat: I live in a state with no seasons. 🌞

The Pirellis are rather pilloried. Never heard bad about the QUIET TREAD Michelins.
The problem with you guys are, you parrot everything you hear. Perelli's have excellent tires. The 315s probably have a better grip than any tire out there for the money. They install them on Ferraris at the factory.
I'm talking P Zeros not the P Zero Nero.

In my opinion over all the best tires are;

You can't beat them for a grip and price, they will run circles around Michelin.
