Imo, if it were normal times, and they were able to be bought for 9-12% off MSRP, they’d be cool appearance packages and tributes to previous cars and people. At the ridiculous ADMs people are trying to get, they’re a joke.
My dealer offered me either a black ghost or jailbreak at msrp I couldn’t justify spending the extra cash rather have my plum crazy purple

I HIGHLY doubt that. Lets see the buyers order for the black ghost at MSRP. Those are trending $50K+ ADM, with only one and thats not every dealer getting one. There is no way thats true.

The "Black Ghost' is a legendary 1970 Hemi Cuda from the Detroit area. The owner was a returning Vietnam Veteran who bought the car new upon his return. It's a good story and the legend is true. Google knows....

I like the story of the original, but do think the 2023 falls short of honoring the real "Black Ghost."

I'm sure Dodge thinks they hit it out of the park. They are selling old cars at a premium & taking it to the bank. I agree it was far off of the best for their customers, but we'll see what happens in the next chapter.....

The whole 2023 model year is a disappointment. Marketing flop imo. But fools and their money will be parted. I am really happy I ordered my 2021 before they got crazy with their package options.

Disappointing to us, yes. A marketing flop...I couldn't disagree more. As much as it pains us to watch this happen, Dodge and the dealers are going to make a lot of money this last year. That is why they make cars. Sometimes I think we romanticize the muscle car so much that we forget that. For those of us who already have their car, be thankful that we can sit back and watch the shitshow unfold. I do feel bad for people that waited until the last year and may not get one.
