Do you think this is a short time fad?

I hate that look whenever I see it on basically any car. I'm not sure why so many people like it but it must be the most popular trend with wheel & lug nut color because it's everywhere. I think some folks simply spray paint their stock wheels black then it looks bad when it starts chipping/peeling.

I'm sure I'm in the minority group on this subject but I think it's a bad look. I think wheels should have some sort of different color even if it's as subtle as dark gray.

Oh well, back to watching the snow fall, lol.

I've only do it as accenting. Black lug nuts with brass monkey wheels for example. All black (murdered) is more of a street racer look that's been around for at least 20 years, if not longer. Probably got a big refresh with Street Outlaws and Murder Nova.

Bronze is the new black

Might be a few years before that becomes obvious but it’s happening right NOW

Gonna do a finish to a set of 92’s that no one has seen before. Will post some pix when they are on the car : )

I've seen Bronze Burst on the Forgestar wheels and it looks great but they would need to be on the appropriate color car to work.

I went with bronze for my Racestar dragpack and I like it.

Love it all black. It’ll never get old for me. Bronze and chrome are just tacky for me. Ruins the look of any car to me. Just my preference.

I painted a set of factory star wheels on my old mustang LX back around 1992. The painter/body guy thought I was crazy but they looked great on the black car just left the pony in the center chrome to stand out. Since then most of my black vehicles get black wheels and lug nuts if exposed I will never out grow that look.

I liked the chrome wheels that were on my silver 2003 Ford F-250. I liked my Centerline Convo Pro wheels that were on my blue 1989 Mustang GT. Different colors and finishes definitely work on different vehicles. I just haven't seen many instances where I liked black wheels and black lug nuts on a vehicle.

Not to get off track but I don't think black wheels would have looked nearly as good on my Mustang as the Convo Pro wheels that had polished outer lip with brushed inner area.
