Very true! I’ll probably just touch it up, then repaint it in a couple of years. It’s in awkward spot... higher up, behind the front passenger fender flare.You want to get it repainted after just one chip?
That's opening a can of worms, IMO, and costly at that. Grab some touch up paint or the Dr. Color Chip repair and move on with your life. It's a car and it's going to happen, if you drive it.
Maybe then think about PPF, depending on where the chip was
