I’m running a 2.75 upper and 10% lower with a tune from a very trusted tuner. I should be around 16-18lbs of boost but my data logs and boost gauge are showing that I’m capping out at 6lbs of boost. Does anyone know where I could be losing 10+ lbs of boost?

Maybe CAT Overtemp Threshold temperature and the PCM dumping fuel?

Check logs. If the bypass valve is open bleeding boost and the injectors are running high duty cycle vs normal and timing goes up then rayzazoo is likely pointing you in the right direction.

Elevation would only account for roughly 2psi of lost boost. Say Colorado compared to here at close to sea level.

Something in your tune file is not happy.
Just curious if you are using Diablosport or HP not that that matters.

Has it been doing this from day one of MODS?

I'm running a 3.10 and 10% with headers and getting 15.5 - 16.0

That is a fairly aggressive set up.Should be logging with your tuner looking at the logs.

Like Mopar Jim said above, sure sounds like your bypass valve is opening.

Without seeing your log we can only guess the reason why.

Please keep in mind this car is always trying to protect itself. If any of these sensors report back something is Off compared to what has been entered in by the factory or your tuner, the Valve will open. Make sense?

You are running the Exact pulley combo as my brother. Ive been polishing his tune for two summers now using different fuels. Without a tuner watching over your logs as Adrenaline pointed out above Risk is high.

Your issue caught my eye in the title as twice last month I experience this same issue in my own car. In my case, the tune was not the issue. So also be aware, there can be mechanical reasons as well.

One thing is certain, 6lbs is pointing to an underlying issue that will not go away. I can take a look at your log if you are using HPTuners and point the right direction if this helps.

I'm guessing he has an electrical issue at his bypass. Broken wire, plug not seated all the way.

My 300 was making 8lbs of boost with an open bypass, had issues with the SmoothBoost controller at the time.
