BORLA exhaust coming to the Hellcat

I will be taking my cat to Borla Performance Exhaust to complete their specifications and geometry for their new exhaust for the Challenger HC. They anticipate a couple weeks and shouldn't be long before it is available. Oh yeah, I'll be the first HC to get it and all free. They are looking for a Charger HC so if any Charger owners are in the Ventura County area and you are interested let me know.

Will you be able to post a video of your car with the borla?? I'm dying to see the sound difference. Keep us post and glad for you that this is free because a Borla Catback cost at least 1000$!!

Good thank you! I've never heard the Cat in person but everybody seem to agree that the car is pretty loud on stock exhaust. Flowmaster did some catback exhaust for the Cat and the sound on the video is pretty good. Hard to tell from youtube but loved the burble sound from the flowmaster.. ( is burble even a word lol)

I do not know if it will sound better because the stock one is pretty amazing to me. Congrats on getting it done for free, looking forward for your videos

I'll be honest and say that Dodge has pretty well got the exhaust nailed in one. None of the videos do it justice. It's loud on the outside but not intrusive on the inside. Drop the window for a little more noise. I need to let my mate Brian drive the cat whilst I stand at the roadside and listen. From inside it feels like you could get away with it. From outside I'm guessing our boys in blue can hear it coming a mile away which is not so good.

I don't think Borla can compete with whats on there now. The Corsa/Mopar set up is by far superior to anything out there. Corsa's sound/tone is unmatched.

The hellcat sounds better then any stock exhaust I have ever heard on a car...I'm not talking about factory upgraded,, straight from the factory

Headers are not in the works just yet but they did come up during our meeting.

Re: the sound... I also love the stock sound and thought it would be hard pressed to compete but... Once you hear their tuned sound I was sold.

If it aint broke, dont fix it . Stock exhaust sounds incredible. My only complaint is a little drone inside the cabin at normal highway speeds

I do not think any aftermarket exhaust going to sound better.stock is perfect.I do not think mopar could do any better

I for one love hearing the exhaust while driving...the hellcat is not that loud at cruising speed, just enough to let you know is a beast

So if I understand right the stock exhaust on the Cat are made by mopar and corsa together??

American racing header offers a header, and I have the full system installed on a hellcat challenger .. Sounds great .. I'll have a AEV bypass module to disable the MIL with out a pcm crack and tune, for you cat back guys shortly.

Zoomers has an exhaust available but the dinks wont even post any videos of start-up or idle... just some crappy fly-by ricer video.

They want me to plunk down $1400+ they better get out a damn camera and show me what it'll sound like!!!

I guess I'll wait and see these Borla videos... maybe tell Zoomers to shove it.
