A few weeks ago I posted about a thump or clunk noise that would happen whenever I went lower than 5mph to a stop. Hard or soft stop it didn't matter but it did the noise but not all the time.

Suddenly since yesterday afternoon and all day today driving it went away.

Service manager at my dealership said it could be the transmission shifting down but to let her know if it got worse or did it more often.

Shrugs my shoulder but problem is gone.

I've had that in quite a few of my cars. Eventually, I get the old empty beer bottle out of the trunk, and it always goes away.
well this "empty beer bottle" went away like thin air. maybe it fell outta my car or something.

My car had a definite rear end whine when I picked it up. At about the 300 mile mark on the way home it went away. I think it was the rear end (gears etc) breaking in a bit. If going about 65 and coasting and then just slightly depressing the accelerator to load the drivetrain you could hear the whine. Nothing obnoxious but it was there. Gone at about 300 mile mark.
now this makes sense, mine went away at 1900 miles

The mounts all have a rubber core in them I'm sure, for vibration and noise resistant. It could be possible to have a defective one that had a flaw in the center rubber that didn't tear all the way or most of the way until it got some miles on it and torque applied a few times. Not out of the range of possibilities. I have purchased many brand new parts in my day that were bad right out of the box. It's kind of a fluke, but does happen occasionally. At least it's a minor issue (cost and fix), so I hope it's that or something even simpler.

As I said, I'm just making a guess.
Thanks RC, it is a possibility

Possible, you may have had a brake caliper piston sticking a little. Mine sounded like that a couple of times when coming to a slow stop, but only a few times.
Thanks HCF I think that may be it, I guess some parts need time to break in
