Does not following the breaking guidelines cause the engine to consume oil? My used 2019 redeye consumed oil from 2000 miles to 6000 miles. My 2021 I bought new, I tried to follow the break in rules. Wondering if that was the difference in the oil consumption. Also the the 2019 seemed a little quicker but that could be because it was cooler in the spring. But was also wondering if not following the break in rules actually made them quicker. Also noticed that my 2021 came with the oil filled above the double line on the dipstick. That could also be a factor.
