So I've decided to forget about my warranty.

I've been keeping my Durango stock for the most part because I was thinking I'd end up flipping it, was offered $120k from the dealer I bought it from which would've been a $30k profit minus taxes registration etc. Ended up turning it down because honestly love this freaking behemoth lol

My biggest issue I'm located in the Springfield MO area and have no clue if there is well known mopar shops near me, I have a list of shops I'd like to work with but this is my first time voiding my warranty so I want my first time to be a magical time 😉

Shops I have in mind are
-Livernois - closes to me
-HHP- I basically buy all my goodies that don't void warranty here
-Overkill
-And national speed.

My goals are flex fuel
Ported blower and snout with race bearings
Bigger throttle body
Upgraded fuel pumps (not a BAP)
Long tube headers with no CATs
Killer chiller
Thermo blanket and spacer

In addition to the stage kits these shops provide like HHP stage 2 or livernois S1150 package.

Livernois is the most appealing to me because they use an AWD dyno and they're 12 hours away so I wouldn't need to ship the car making it alot more affordable lol

Please be kind I'm a rookie here but would love to know if there is other shops I should look at first

I know a shop that has done this and the beast is amazing (and the guy drives it, street/track, etc) without issues. The problem is that the shop is in NC and that’s not close enough to even consider. Given your location my vote is Livernois as they seem to have a great reputation and it’s close to you (a huge plus in my book if anything does go wrong). Good luck!!!
I don't hear much about Livernois but its supposed to be a good shop. If 12 hours is the closet decent shop then you don't have much choice without shipping your car somewhere else. 12 hours is a LONG ways for me to any shop.
Here is a list of shops that the members of the SRT8 Jeep forum recommended for MOPAR work in your area. All near Dallas/Ft Worth

Lone Star Performance in Addison
21st Century Muscle in Addison
True Street Motorsports in McKinney

12 hours is close? Lol ok. Those are just basic bolt-ons bro it doesnt really matter who u take it to. Go with who's closest but I would not do a Flex-Tune.

Get a dedicated 93 pump gas tune and a dedicated E85 tune. The Flex tunes are not that aggressive and these computers dont compensate fast enough.

I would also run Methanol to cool ur IAT's. As far as the killer-chiller I have had nothing but problems with it in the past and refuse to run on on my Trackhawk. Comes standard on my Redeye.

Those ******* things leak everywhere and when they do ur car no longer functions properly till u get it sorted out and finding the leaks is a PITA! Never again! Half my buddies have had the same exact issues with theirs.

I would opt for the Billet Lid from TBA over the spacer. I would also recommened a Cam as u will pick up 40 whp with it. Theyre pretty cheap.

Take National Speed off that list, thank me later!
Last I heard, Tim Barth was opening a new location with his brother in Chickasaw,OK . That’s almost in your backyard .

HHP is the way to go for sure!
Livernois is a legit shop that has been building legit cars for a while. They have a proven track record on anything they touch

Just my two cents but you have a Hellcat Durango, limited production. The upgrades you are looking at are going to take more than just a day to get put on right. Consider shipping the SUV to the "best" shop to do the work. My vote is Livernois or HHP. Both shops have transports they trust and use. I would call the shop, get an estimate as to the time involved then figure out the cost of driving, flying back and forth or waiting for the SUV to be completed. Bounce that off of the transport fee.
Problem is shipping is $1500-2000+ for any reasonable distance these days with Diesel fuel being $6.50 a gallon smh...... And thats ONE-WAY!

Use to be a viable option for many. Not now. That would be half the cost of the labor and parts bill!

Must have gone up a lot. My car was shipped from Knoxville TN to Martinsville VA back in Feb of this year and it cost me $395 one way. I went and picked it up when finished. I used the shops prefered carrier
Bro thats like 4 hours. I would drive it there and have someone follow me if it was that close.....

When I shipped my hellcat charger from the port of entry from Dallas it came out to about $1 a mile not to mention insurance and taxes.

My guess shipping alone to HHP would be alone for transport $2 a mile? Taking into account the weight and the increase in fuel prices vs 2 years ago.

Main reason I want flex fuel tune is because I will run E85 but there is literally only 1 93 octane pump I have seen here so if I'm in a pinch I'd like to have E85 mixed in with some 91.

Messaged livernois 2 time I think and still no response lol

I will definitely dig into the shops in Texas, and anything less then a 12 hour drive is close I'm a truck driver so I'm used to the long hauls lol

If it came down to it I'd drive down and fly back home then fly back in when it's done and drive home.

But the shop in OK if it's up and running I'm sold thats literally like 4 hours!

This is the first negative review I've heard of it! Some have said AC isn't as cold as before but that's fine with me. I'd prefer not to run meth that seems like more work then it's worth. I want simplicity lol
Thats because most ppl are just ignorant when it comes to methanol no offense. There is nothing complicated about it unless u think filling up ur tank with Boost Juice is complicated.

And yes u pretty much lose ur properly working AC. Some have better luck than others with that tho. No biggie if u dont live somewhere HOT but if u do that will grow old really fast!

My buddy removed it from his Mustang cause the tiny little bit of performance u get from it cooling down while at the TRACK didnt justify his AC pretty much no longer working and having to drive with the windows down ALL the time in the summer..

Trust me bro a LOT of ppl have had issues with the chiller and I mean a LOT! Do a simple Google search on "Killer Chiller issues". I speak from experience and I speak from MANY friends cars from Mustangs to Vetts to Hellcats that have had a LOT of issues as well.

The killer chiller is 10x more complicted and problematic than methanol injection is. Bro, meth is just a spray pump with a couple of jets its not rocket science. So if u want SIMPLICITY then steer clear from the KC.

If I were going to do this, I'd start having a 426 built and get an order in for the new Whipple. Probably @ 6 months for those to be ready. That gives you time to order all of the supporting mods. Fuel, exhaust, etc. Once the motor is built and all your parts are in, then drop it off. HHP > Livernoise.
Whipple is only a 4-6 weeks and unless ur waiting on a Billet crank it wont be 6 months. But I agree with getting all ur shit in order before dropping off. Pistons, rods etc.....

Most of those are pretty easy to get unless ur going with Calies Ultra rods they will take a bit longer. Diamond 2K pistons come pretty quick.

But then again if u dont have a good working relationship with ur shop it might be 6 months to get a motor built. My shop builds motors and tunes so its a one stop shop!

Ive spent a lot of money with my shop over the last two years so they do put me in the front of the line when I need shit done. But I have spent over a $100k there so I should get special attention lol
