Hi there,
I have a 2018 charger with the mid muffler delete, and I don’t seem to get lots of crackles and pops. Do you need to tune the car for that? I get odd ones on downshifts, but nothing like what I want.
Thanks

trade it for a WRX
Not only Japanese imports do this, European, Exotics, even the Camaro ZL1 does this. Some people love it, some people don't care for it. I never thought I likes it until I got my ZL1, it's actually quite enjoyable.

As someone who has tuned a lot of cars, if the OP came into my shop, I'd kindly say something like, "Sorry, I don't tune or build cars to run like shit on purpose." That's because tuning a car to do that is intentionally making it slower and it'll rip through spark plugs like nobody's business. I'd probably also try and sell him a proper fabricated exhaust that doesn't sound like a dump truck.

Tuning a car to have burble under deccelaration isn't making it any slower or causing any harm as long as it's not overdone. As stated, my Camaro ZL1 does this from the factory.

Oddly enough, mine popped and crackled a lot more stock with a muffler delete than it does now with catless midpipes and a e85 tune.

Get a 6speed manual challenger widebody mid delete over time will do it all I get gunshot sound pops gurgle and there is no Rev limiter on a manual you can dump the clutch at whatever rpms you like way more fun too.😆
