Yes, a bumper to bumper...I bought a 2018 Hellcat a few months ago..it now has about 36,500 miles on it . I’m debating on if I should buy an extended warranty on it . It’s parked in my garage and I don’t drive it much. What do u guys think ?
If you never want to do any mods to it but your gonna drive the piss out of it ?.... then you may want warranty.I bought a 2018 Hellcat a few months ago..it now has about 36,500 miles on it . Problems happen from miles driven not the time the car sits in a garage. If you are not going to drive the car that much an extended warranty is not likely to be of any value, other than it you can transfer the warranty it might help if you decide to sell the car.I bought a 2018 Hellcat a few months ago..it now has about 36,500 miles on it . Thanks..I do drive it ..mostly on the weekendsProblems happen from miles driven not the time the car sits in a garage. I'm not current on extended warranties but I seem to recall one can only buy a Dodge extended warranty if the car is still under its new car warranty. At 36,500 miles the car I would think out of its new car warranty and thus would not be eligible for an extended warranty. 'course, you would have to research this to know for sure.
I didn’t ask you if you would buy a car with the miles mines has . Ur the only one that sent a stupid response. I have 3 cars that’s y I don’t drive it everyday.. I drive it on the weekends. And I bought it because I can ..and it had everything I wanted.I wouldn't buy a Car with 36,000 miles but I would say yes get the warranty.
If you don't drive it much sell it, I don't understand why people have a garage queens, it's a losing option IMO
ThanksI got one for my low mile 2016. It would not take much of a repair, for the warranty to pay for itself. And I like the piece of mind it gives me, makes putting miles on it feel better. I would only suggest the Genuine Mopar warranty, and shop around to find the best price on it.
my $0.02

If your gonna baby it & not put too many miles on it ?... then you probably don't need warranty & save your money.
If your gonna do mods to it like more boost ?... then there's no sense in buying extra warranty because on certain issues it may not be covered anyway.
Actually all of the insurance warranties, whether Mopar or third party, are insurance policies and you can get a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the warranty when you sell or trade the vehicle. The Mopar warranty can be transferred if the car is sold, making it more valuable at the time of sale. Not all third party warranties can be.If you ever plan to mod the car, then don’t get a warranty. But...if you plan on keeping it and don’t plan to mod, then definitely get it. Also with a genuine Dodge extended warranty (not third party) you can get most of your money back (pro rated) if you never use it when you sale the car. But many will disagree. I never bought warranties until redeye/Super Stock. But at $20,000+ on an engine, plus a lot of the electrical components, its just good insurance.
