Utah is getting aggressive. They just changed the law so that 105+ is a full-on misdemeanor and they can impound your car and instant jail time. Anything under is still just an infraction.
We need more tracks.

I’m not 100% sure I’d try to outrun the cops. It Depends on what state you’re in, county or city. The Cops aren’t suppose to chase speeding cars like that to endanger more lives.

Haha. Giving me flashbacks of my upbringing in NH.😁. But never at 161. Hope I’ve grown up. Would rather try it out at Loring.

In Florida, double the speed limit can be a felony. Generally, they reserve that penalty for serious crime though, like evading police, driving 150mph on a crowded roadway, etc. I know of at least a few people who have gotten tickets for doing 130-140 who pulled over when lit up, were respectful and ended up getting reckless driving citations (which, in Florida, you can go take traffic school once every so often and have it reduced to a 0 point infraction which won't affect your insurance).
