Had the 2020 HC for almost 2 years, the alarm has never gone off.

Picked up the 22 RE and so far the alarm has gone off twice. Both times I was parked in a shopping center lot, windows partially open, doors locked, dog in the back seat.

It appears they changed the security system to be very sensitive to movement/vibration. The dog only weighs 55lb.

Anyone else seeing extra sensitive alarm activation?

Has your dog had the 2022 canine security upgrade? If so, it needs to be removed or at least everything deactivated but the valet mode. This is what it looks like when valet mode is initiated:

There were reports of alarm improvements for 2022 when they released the upgrades last year for the 2021's. I would say you probably have more sensors now.

Mobb70 found the solution and posted it in another thread. Press the lock button at least 3 times and it disables the trembler. Works great!

All 2022 cars have the Intrusion module to detect movement in the interior so this will have to be disabled if you are parking with someone or a pet in the car. Maybe if you left the engine running this would not be an issue I don't know, but should be something on this in your Owner's Manual.

Don't the new cars also have twin "electric eye" motion detectors mounted high somewhere in the car interior, also?
Yes, they're part of the new high mount stop light housing now and that's what is picking up the dog moving around.

I was at a show last weekend in PA. Reached in the car to grab glasses and the alarm went off on my 22'. I looked like dork as the horn sounded and I went looking for my keys. 😌 The sensor works great!

Dog in car in August with no A/C? Doesn't it get super hot in there even if you roll the windows down a little bit ? Unless you are in a place up north that it is already cooling off.
I started the discussion in April, we get snowstorms in April and sometimes the snow doesn't melt until well into May.:)

Ya, she has been staying home a lot lately, there is nothing about warm weather that she likes.

The alarm seems much improved on my 22 vs the one in my 19. I jacked the rear up this weekend to install my MFER kit and the tilt of the car set the alarm off. Also have had my kids sit in the car a few times while I ran into a restaurant to grab food and they set the alarm off every time they move.
