I have a typical combo on my superstock, e85, 1300 injectors, 9% lower 2.82 upper.
I noticed some belt slip with the green belt so I tried that rpm belt. First belt I noticed after 100 miles the edge was frayed some so I replaced it with another. Long story short after a few hundred miles I was driving home from work and got on the car a little and broke the belt. This is the first time I've broken a belt on a hellcat. Drive belt for alt and water pump was good so I drove home. The belt string got behind the alternator hub and smoked the alternator bearing, ruined all the pulleys and the tensioner as well. 750 bux later it's fixed. Have done 400 miles with the green belt with no issues. I have learned the standard black gates belt has less slip than the gates green. **** that rpm belt.
