Demon killer springs installed on my 18 WB hellcat challenger. The ride is night and day better than the stock springs. Before, in track mode the bumps were so harsh so I usually ran in street suspension.
I’ll tell you what…I can drive in track suspension setting and it feels tight and controlled but takes bumps so much better. Obviously a high spring rating so I’m not surprised but man!!…I wish I did this mod a lot sooner.
Now for big question. Does she squat in the rear and lift in the back….absolutely!! Even doing pulled on the highway, you get that front end lift that the Demon looks so good doing. I will update as the springs settle over the next few thousand miles. I daily drive mine so this summer I will be able to update. I’ll also take measurements of the front and back as the car settles. Running 315/35/20 on all four corners on the 11x20 stock wheels. No rubbing at all.
Current 0-60 is 3.5 on 315 Pilot super sport 4s in Porsche spec.
I will be running 315/35/20 NT555RII in less than a month and will do street testing 0-60’s

Man this is just what I needed to hear as my demon killer springs are still in the box waiting to be installed. I was wondering if I should do it or not I guess I’m going to have to now based on your experience and information you just shared, perfect!!! Thank you!!
Based off of everything I was reading I was a little hesitant too. I’ve read every thread and watched every YouTube video out there.
Also I paid $830 for the spring install, bushing replacements (4) (eibach camber bushings) and an alignment at my local dodge dealer. The SRT tech that works on my car is the only reason I keep having the dealer do my work. Cost was about $200 more than my local auto shop but I like that he respects my vehicle like I do and has knowledge about our cars that others may not.
I went with the eibach camber bushings because they were $100 shipped and allowed me to take 1 degree of camber out. My rear camber went from -1.5 degrees to .5 degrees.
We could have taken all of the camber out but since I daily drive I wanted some camber to help with highway and back road cornering while still allowing for more tire contact.

I’ve already have all AAD suspension stuff out back in my camber set up to be a hair on the positive side so I get good tire contact across the tire face these are my worn out Nitto’s, They were evenly across the face before I had the suspension work done the outsides of the tires would still have after thread on them while the insides would be worn off

Have any previous 60’ time slips from the track?
I do not unfortunately so I won’t have office times to compare. I’ve solely ran street dig and roll races in Mexico.
This summer will be the first time taking the cat to the strip. My brother in law runs the exact same set up at minus The “demon killer” springs and adjustable bushings so we will have footage and stats from that.

Only other mods are LMI intake, mid-muffler delete replaced with Vibrant 1794’s so basically stock. I will post time slips for reference.

I was debating ordering them... idk heard they sag after a while. Look beautiful and if the rides better/smoother and you get the weight transfer that's all that matters.

What is the difference in height right now compared to where the car sat with the stock springs?

The front end is about 1/2 inch taller than stock and the rear is about 1/2 inch lower. Gives a very even look as it stands. BUT….the springs settle after a few thousand miles and the car will actually sit a bit lower than now. I’ll post pics from before and after below

Hey that's pretty close to stock. Looks to me like the front is maybe a hair higher with the new springs?

Does the rear feel any softer while in street mode? Feel like it will want to squat more with a hard launch? Wish stock these would transfer more weight than they do.

Get the back down. I used a adjustable spring perch (cuz they all will settle or sag as you guys call it) and H.A.S. flat rate springs

Sits like that with .600” drop left on the adjuster and street 20’s

29.1 front 27.8 rear (ground to fender)

I would not mess w the front unless I was gonna build some AFCO’s for it

With a 1” taller Mickey for the track I can take the last .600 out

Getting the rear down makes a huge difference but with yer power you need afco’s up front for the extra upward travel and the loose rebound dampening so it can extend quickly

Where do you buy those adjusters from?

@juanagofast - afco custom builds coil overs. Their shit ain’t cheap and getting em to work in a chally will take lots of mods. They will transfer the weight like nuthin else tho
