Intermittent Power Steering Noise And/Or Slight Loss Of Assist

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves draining the vehicle’s existing power steering fluid and refilling with
new fluid as well as installing a new power steering fluid caution label.

MODELS: 2015 (LA) Dodge Challenger Hellkitty

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or after August 19, 2014 and on or before January 05, 2015 equipped with a 6.2L engine

SYMPTOM/CONDITION: A small number of customers may experience an objectionable noise from the power steering system at times. In addition, they may also experience a slight loss of assist intermittently.

i get a clicking noise when i turn right on low speeds both forward and reverse. the wheel is not completely turned either.

I'm assuming it's instructions to use the new fluid part no. instead of the ATF+4 but don't know for sure...

A little Googling and it looks like the Mopar MS-10838 may be rebottled Pentosin CHF 11S. Must be residual influence from Diameler... The Germans love Pentosin CHF 11S. It's good stuff so if this is correct the replacement fluid is probably a step up.

Well... Your'e typing. But we also know your into power toys. So deductive reasoning doesn't get us closer to learning your secrets, just because your hands or on the keyboard... But the two combined does make us wonder.
