Wrong. Cashiers checks are issued and guaranteed by the issuing bank. The check writer is out of the picture the moment the bank charges their account and issues the check. I guess one can make a fake check, but not stop a real one.

Wrong. There is a known history of cashier's checks being canceled days or weeks after a transaction. They used to be secure.
Now they are not.
