I never was a Challenger guy… had 3 different Cuda’s. Know all the little differences from year to year start to finish (64-74). But I don’t know em on the Challenger. Trying to figure out what year stuff is on my 16 shaker. Know the hood was 70-71 but what about the rear? What year does the tail most resemble? My grill looks like a 71

So there’s that… and my 3.09’s are for sale. Outta stock on back order everywhere in the universe - come n get it $1000. 1250 shipped

If you look at the first edition of Challengers they were made to look like the 1970 model, these were made from 2008 to 2014. With the exterior and interior refresh in 2015, the current Challenger is made to look like the 1971 model Challenger. If you go and look at pictures of both cars you can see the resemblance. They changed both the front and rear of the Challenger in 1972 and that refresh lasted all the way through 1974. The same thing happened to the "Cuda back then. Different looks for the 70 and 71 models. (71 was the only year for dual headlights). Then the 72 thru 74 were the same.

No 309's needed here. Already have them. But since you're a Cuda guy, What is your opinion on something I mentioned on the forum earlier to Slowpoke? Driving my Challenger makes me feel like I'm driving my 70 Cuda from the driver's view looking out over that hood. Much more than the Challenger's. Reminds me so much of the bubble hood. I am referring to the 2019 and up hood.

Sitting in drivers seat of hellcat the hood reminded me of my 1970 340 Duster but I see your point. Yes. I have never driven a hc. Ban me. Ha

I hope you left a time slip under the seat. My 98 Cobra before it was put back to stock and sold has a few tucked away for the new owners to find.

I have my 3:09's sitting in my garage. I am currently running a Getrag 3:73 LSD in mine. Great around town not so much on the interstate.
