Hello,
does anyone have the tightening torques for the screws for the water pump on the Hellcat

Greeting

Nightmen :)
You changed the water pump already?! How bad was the swap? Looks like it would be a pita

I did it last year as a preventive measure....it was a PITA, making room for removal and reinstall even with upper pulley rign was tough.....also the heater hose (rigid) was a bit of a tough part as well.

I took lots of pictures and likely have answers to lots of questions for anyone wanting to do the same project.

I changed the WP on my 5.7 Ram in December (NW Ohio) and that was pain but not as bad as spark plugs:cry: I can only imagine the 6.2 is way worse. Good luck and let us know how it goes. I'm curious because I do my own work most of the time.

Best advice I can make is use a template for the bolts and place them on or in the spots exactly where they came out. Good thing is they are only two lengths, so you cannot get it wrong. Just good to ensure you completely remove all and have the new wp on for example beside all bolts.

The Hellcat isn't too bad on plugs if you have the right tools for it. I did a plug job on my 6.4, so very similar. It just takes a socket wrench with a couple of ball joint extensions to get at the rears.

Hello, I changed the water pump. My Hellcat is even more powerful where the pulley is larger. It's all possible without having to dismantle the throttle valve and the pully. The worst thing is the hose clamp on the power steering pump.

good you survived the effort, it was definetly no fun for me.....

my hardest point was making enough clearance to take the old water pump out and getting the hard core line out and seated back in
