You said the other day that Sunroofs would be back in Production on 6/1 for Challengers. When would you be able to ORDER with a Sunroof?

With the order banks closed, is there anyway to update orders now?

If so...when is the latest you can change your order without losing your "spot" in line?
I am currently in D, with a "Production Week" of 6/1/15, according to DriveSRT. Would I be able to add the Sunroof and not get booted out of line?

I believe once you have a VIN you are locked in.

I was told you cannot change the order in that phase and I would not even if you could, It could delay the car for a very long time or mess up your ability to get one this year.

Yo Good...my feeling is don't screw with your order once in VIN. Let sleeping dogs lie...LOL. Sunroofs have been kind of a funky situation...more so than black hoods. Who knows what can happen to your order. However, if you are insistent on trying, dealer has to call FCA rep directly for any changes. There is strong talk here that dealer mods will be available in a week thru Dealer Connect.

I don't think they will get any challengers with a sunroof. Just my guess based on nothing so nobody read this and take it as fact. I just think they have enough orders as is that they don't have to do the sunroof.

I think Challenger sunroof option got deleted. There are reports that the whole sunroof came out with speed 120mph and more but I am not sure if this is final. My order is in without the sunroof and most probably not going to add one after market.

You are correct, it was deleted. But according to ResumeSpeed, it is scheduled to be added back (put back in production) on June 1st. That was his update about a week ago.

I have a question maybe someone can help. Can I get the Uconnect sytem installed/added after I get my Cat? Didn't order it on my initial VON. Now I'm D1 & NO changes allowed. Any thoughts?

Changes can be made, providing the dealer, and the factory rep agree to allow the changes to be made. I picked up an order that was dropped by another buyer. The cat is in D1 status, and the changes requested were made to the order. Not sure how that will affect the build date. Not all dealers or reps will accommodate you, as I tried with another dealer and they refused to make any changes.
