I bought a 2017 hellcat with the red back lit SRT steering wheel logo last year. Since then I have been doing work to make my car unique to myself like many others here. One of the questions I have been trying to figure out from looking at the internet and videos of ppl who have changed from scat pack steering wheels to back lit SRT wheels is whether there is a way to get to the LED to swap it out without risk of deploying the airbag. Obviously this isnt something I absolutely need to do but its something I would like to do if possible and cant find much information on. So I am turning to the forum to find out if its even possible..... or better yet if someone has potentially already done it?

What color are u thinking? If u want white I think the jeep comes in white. Possibly just swap or find a trade

I was hoping to make it purple. Which is why I was trying to figure out if there was a way to get to the LED. I hadn't thought about just switching to white even though I knew they have white as an option. Might have to consider that if the alternative isn't possible. Good suggestion. Thanks!
