yes in the 5th gear pull it did lose a little bit of power. In 4th gear pulls it actually gained power and had same output on TQ. Here is the 4th gear pulls. These cars are consistently dynoing 680whp; it is awesome. Looks like it lost power with cutouts?
stock everything except exhaust cutouts which didnt do really anything for the car except sound more beastly.thats a lot of power, stock air filter?
Just over 2400 miles on the cat.How many miles do you have on your car?
Nor did I. Thats why i went and dyno'd it so i could see how it was actually performing! I dont know what this translates to the crank horsepower or whatever but seems pretty high to me. Obviously these things are underrated. Also on top of that i just saw a vid of a guy runs on dyno, all he does is remove the air box cover and gains 17 hp hahahaha. That is so ridiculous! Im gonna try that next!i didnt realize these things were making 681 to the rear...damn
Add 15 to 18 % for crank HP estimate.Nor did I. Thats why i went and dyno'd it so i could see how it was actually performing! Nope no fuse pulled. Put it into track mode. Then turned off all traction control by holding down the traction control button for 10 seconds
- Out of curiosity were there any special fuses that had to be pulled or anything to get your car to dyno? reason I ask is mine would not even run on the dyno @ 1,100 miles. We assumed that it had a break in tune only allowing so much power.
Same here. Ran 681hp in 6th gear -Nope no fuse pulled. Put it into track mode. Then turned off all traction control by holding down the traction control button for 10 seconds
Right on. Why did they use 6th gear. Mine dynoed 681hp in 5th gear. 4th was a bit less as you can see above.Same here. Ran 681hp in 6th gear -
Awesome thanks. We will be running it on the Dyno again later this week to see what it can do. I'll post up results and a video after!Nope no fuse pulled. Put it into track mode. Then turned off all traction control by holding down the traction control button for 10 seconds
Because 6th gear is truer to a 1:1 ratio than any other gear and the shop prefers this type of ratio on their dyno. I don't know the science behind it; just what they tell me.Right on. Why did they use 6th gear. Mine dynoed 681hp in 5th gear. 4th was a bit less as you can see above.
